Pack 1150 Spookery Campout

This is our first campout of the year. All family members are invited and encouraged to attend. Some families may have never been camping. No worries, overnight camping is optional; however, we recommend attending camp Saturday because some adventure requirements will be offered. Also plan to stay late due to activities continuing past sunset that day.
Where: New Kentucky Park - 21710 Fm - 2920 Hockley, Tx 77447. Restrooms on site, along with a source of water. NO SHOWERS & NO ELECTRICITY OUTLETS.
Provided: Water; activities for the scouts and siblings; washing station to clean mess kits.
Food: Friday Night – bring your own; Saturday Morning – bring your own; Saturday Lunch – Pack Potluck, please coordinate with leadership; Saturday Night – (Pack Meal) Hot Dogs and Burgers ; Sunday Morning – Bring your own
Cost: $5.00 Per Person

Family Members
o * Health Form parts A and B. This includes any parents, siblings, infants, etc.
o Food and drink for breakfast. Our tradition is for breakfast to be a family event. Sometimes a group breakfast is prepared by other members but that should be coordinated separately. Bring your own plates, cups and plastic ware. There will be several camp stoves that can be borrowed from other families if needed.
o * Adults should complete the Youth Protection Training - Go to https://my.scouting.org/, login and click the badge on the right side "Begins With Youth Protection"
o Bag of candy optional to pass out during Tent or Treat Saturday night. We could have around 50 kids!
o Refillable water container (water provided)

o Halloween costume optional (remember, we are outdoors so they will get dirty)
o Boots/shoes (suitable for hiking)
o Backpack with the 6 essentials for our hike Saturday morning
o Healthy snack (we usually take a small break in the middle of the hike)
o Whistle (for emergencies)
o Flashlight (for emergencies)
o Suntan lotion / bug spray
o First aid kit (these can be small)
o Water (this can just be a bottle, or a bladder built into a backpack)
